Classy Cab Company was founded in early 2005 by Bob DeLucia, a Pittsburgh-area entrepreneur who has worked for, and owned, successful transportation companies in western Pennsylvania for more than 25 years. Bob established Classy Cab because he believes that the taxi cabs underserve the Pittsburgh market, and that the region needs upscale, comfortable and prompt taxi service.
Classy Cabs differ from "typical" cabs in several key ways. They`re larger, newer, cleaner and more reliable. All drivers are employees instead of independent contractors, giving Classy Cab maximum control over drivers` appearances, behavior and hours. In fact, all of our drivers have passed criminal background checks and drug tests, so you know you`re in safe hands.
Classy Cab runs trips of any distance that originate or terminate in the City of Pittsburgh. Although we do not pick up arriving passengers at Pittsburgh International Airport due to Public Utilities Commission restrictions, we can take you to the airport, and our affiliates, Star Limousine and Embassy Coach, can bring you back.
