Golden Pheasant Inn Bed and Breakfast

The Golden Pheasant Inn is situated on the eastern boundary of Tinicum township in a section of Bucks County which was called Manor of Highlands. In 1699, the 7,500 acres were purchased from William Penn by the London Company.
For the years, Barbara and Michel Faures have offered the finest French cuisine in a romantic country bed and breakfast inn setting. They like to call it "a bite of France in Bucks County."
Guest Rooms.Sleep soundly in one of six romantic guest rooms, or our cottage suite, featuring four poster queen-sized canopy beds, private baths and a generous continental breakfast. Our cottage suite has a peaceful porch overlooking the Delaware Canal and comes equipped with a kitchenette and sitting room. All rooms have river and canal views and are furnished in French, English and American antiques. Guest rooms are reserved exclusively for dining customers. No smoking inside the inn. We ask that you join us for two nights on weekends. Friday night only stay accepted.
Private Parties. We think you'll agree that we have created an atmosphere of elegance, romance and intimacy at the Golden Pheasant perfect for any occasion. On holidays we have special menus and serving times. Our three dining rooms can accommodate a private parties from six to 106 people. We welcome weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries as well as corporate dinners and meetings.
The Restaurant. Dinner is served Wednesday through Saturday from 5:30 to 10:30. On Sunday, brunch is from 11:00 to 3:00 and dinner is from 3:00 to 8:00. We serve dinner and Sunday brunch in three dining rooms. For country warmth, the Tavern Room has pointed stone walls, hardwood floors, recessed windows, exposed ceiling beams and a working fireplace. Our center room features a collection of wicker baskets and a large collection of Quimper, the brightly colored French pottery.
Dining Out. Romance looms in our converted candle lit greenhouse resplendent with hanging plants and a lovely view of the Delaware canal which is illuminated at night. Private parties and wedding receptions can be accommodated in any of the three rooms. Our menu changes with the seasons. In addition to the regular menu, Chef Faure is currently offering trout, venison, and pheasant. The inn offers an extensive wine list or spirits from the bar.
Culinary Classes. Since 1986, Chef Michel has taught cooking classes at the Inn. Classes are taught at the Golden Pheasant in the spring and fall on Tuesday night and Wednesday day. Classes are very popular with local amateur chefs. For those wishing to stay over, lodging is available in our guestrooms overlooking the Delaware River. Review availability for your dates.
