Dr. James M. Budd has been practicing since 1984, when he graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He formerly taught optics at the University of Missouri School of Optometry and the University of Alabama School of Optometry, and he has written computer programs (for designing contact lenses and for teaching various eye tests) which are used at optometry schools and offices all over the world (feel free to ask Dr. Budd for a demo). The Eyeglass Store has been at the Miracle Mile Shopping Center since 1981 (originally in the Arcade); Dr. Budd took over the practice in 1991 and moved it to its current location in 1994.
Services
We fit all types of contact lenses, including tinted, bifocal, rigid, and toric contacts. Difficult prescriptions are not a problem, and we can order any brand of contact lens from any manufacturer. We stock several brands of disposable contacts, including Acuvue, Acuvue2, and Biomedics55.
