Anyone and everyone can practice Yoga! Sri Yantra Yoga enjoys a good reputation teaching new students as well as retaining a strong group of long-timers. Hatha Yoga is a life-enhancing aspect of Yoga which explores varying physical movements to improve your strength, flexibility, balance, breathing and ability to deeply relax. With a regular practice, students find they stay healthier, sleep better, handle stress with more ease, have happier moods and lower blood pressure. Sri Yantra Yoga can also accommodate students wanting to go spiritually deeper into their Yoga practice with meditation and other traditional practices. Our Classes: - Yoga 1 - An enjoyable & safe way to learn and practice the fundamental postures of Hatha Yoga. Gain strength, flexibility & balance that will extend beyond the physical level to all areas of your life. - Intern Yoga 1 - As New teachers complete their Yoga certification training, we want to introduce them to you by offering reduced-tuition classes for you to try. Each teacher has something different to add to the whole of Yoga, like a new ingredient in a recipe. - Yoga 2 - Experience and find more ease in the Yoga Flows with depth. Ability to hold postures longer with a quiet energetic focus. - Yoga 3 - Hatha Yoga with more vinyasa flow, more challenging asanas and an ability to focus inside more deeply. Students must feel at ease in Yoga 1 and 2, be familiar with the asanas, and just check in with the teacher before registering for this class. - Gentle Yoga 1- Slightly sower pace, more personalized modifications with props, if needed. Modifications will help folks living with physical movement more limited than it used to be, such as from car accidents, arthritis-related conditions, osteoporosis, asthma, heart disease, etc. All ages. - Yoga 50/40 - 50 minutes of Intense Yoga followed by 40 minutes of Intense Relaxation. There's nothing better to melt away anything that's been bothering you! In good physical condition with some knowledge of asanas. - 108 Surya Namaskar - Traditional sequence of 12 asanas linked in succession, moving in harmony with each breath. Commonly referred to as Sun Salutations, to help us open to our Inner Light. - Tai Chi Chuan - Great complimentary practice to Yoga. Slow, gently flowing movements following the instructor. - Meditation Class - Meditation has now been proven to reduce stress effects. increase brain power and help gain a higher perspective of Life, among many other benefits. Yogic readings, talks and satsang; Various practices: chanting, mantra and silent meditations from the Shambhava Yoga lineage.
Students are always encouraged to participate at their own comfort level.
