Non-Traditional Alternative School
Motivational Educational Training Company, parent company to of New Hope Academy, is a state approved alternative education provider. School districts contract with METC and New Hope Academy to educate children that the district cannot accommodate.

New Hope Academy received its official State License in 2001.
NHA's parent company, METC ,has been in the business of education for over 25 years. Among the many services offered are courses for either make-up or original credit. Over the years, hundreds of parents commented to the METC staff and teachers on how well their student had done while at METC, how they never saw them smile like this in normal school, and wished they could keep them with us year-round. This constant feedback from parents along with the knowledge and passion we have for education led us to take on the lengthy process of obtaining a private day school license. We succeeded and opened at our start-up location in Langhorne, Bucks County, August of 2001. Interest and demand quickly exceeded our capacity. We've recently moved to a larger facility in Yardley, where we are looking forward to the 2002-2003 school year.
Admissions Policy
New Hope Academy accepts all students and gives each child an opportunity for success regardless of race, creed, or color. All students will be given high expectations and must maintain respect for themselves, their peers, and the building in which they work in order to stay at New Hope Academy.
Brain Based Research
New Hope Academy implements the most up-to-date brain based research in all of it's courses. B.B.R., shows us that students respond more favorably to teachers who build a personal connection with them, as well as an academic one.
N.H.A. follows the philosophy of their parent company, METC, and their Target Hope Network. This philosophy is based on building a foundation of: self skills, people skills, and academic skills. By working with the head and heart, before working with the brain, N.H.A. instructors build a strong foundation of success
Classroom of the World
With the individual curriculum New Hope Academy specializes in, students are more free to learn outside the textbook and outside the classroom. We encourage trips, lectures, productions, and contributions to the learning process from any form appropriate and beneficial to the student.
Safer Enviornment
The one-on-one student / faculty ratio introduces a healthy adult presence into the everyday school environment. Students are given freedom yet closely supervised to insure respect for the school property, the authority figures, the other children, and themselves.
Individualized Learning
Students with some holes in their learning from previous years can be "caught up" in a one-on-one environment more easily than in a traditional school setting. The needs of the child as well as their learning styles are a primary consideration when scheduling instructors and courses.
