Stepping Stones Children`s Center
The families and children enrolled in Stepping Stones programs represent a diverse range of racial, ethnic and economic backgrounds. Stepping Stones has grown from a single site providing care to 12 children, supported by Eden Hall Farm, to six sites serving over 300 children.
Vision Statement
Stepping Stones Children's Center, Inc will strive to be an organziation that exemplifies growth and opportunity for children, their families, and our community at large, by providing the following:
- A future that is brighter, safer, and more productive for children
- More effective networking among community organizations
- Wider understanding of the needs of children and families
- Early identification and intervention for children with special needs
- Secure jobs for child care workers in a supportive working environment
- A stronger and more stable local economy
Values Statement
Stepping Stones Chilren's Center, Inc through its Families, Staff, Board and Administration affirms its commitment to these values for our children and the community.
We will work diligently to:
- Create and maintain standards of high quality care and education for children and youth
- Monitor the economic climate in the organization to foster quality programming and growth
- Design and maintain high quality physical environments that are safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing
- Promote innovative and creative development of programs, services, and solutions for children and their families

Strategic Plan
Goal A: To maintain and expand enrollment in existing programs and space to capacity.
Goal B: To expand programs in Pine-Richland and surrounding school districts.
Goal C: To obtain and maintain program accreditation from NAEYC and NSACA.
Goal D: To improve and expand facilities at the Main Center.
Goal E: To increase the availability and use of technology in all programs and administration.
Goal F: To enhance the financial position of the corporation to support the Strategic Plan.
School Age Summer Camp
Our Summer Camp strives to provide each child with the opportunity to fill his or her summer days with adventure, good friends or just plain fun.
